About
Ani’a Dutton is a Controller for a Ford dealership by day and a passionate writer of Urban Fantasy by night, weaving stories inspired by her experiences. A lifelong Oregonian, her household is filled with energy, thanks to two mischievous ferrets and a playful puggle who ensure she is always on her toes.
Living with several autoimmune diseases has profoundly influenced Dutton’s writing, instilling in her a desire to explore themes of resilience and the power to “rise above it.” To date, she has self-published three novels, each reflecting her journey and the strength we all possess. Dutton is excited to have a short story featured in the Red Herrings Society Fall 2024 anthology.
Dutton’s writing journey has been enriched by participation in various programs, including Jerry Jenkins’s Writer’s Guild and Ted Dekker’s Creative Way. Currently, Dutton is involved in the ICONIC Mentorship Program with The Writer’s Sanctuary, where she is further honing her craft.
